Invitations and member emails

Invite members from People and help them sign in with the same email address you invited.

Invite members

1. Open People.
2. Select Add member.
3. Enter one or more email addresses.
4. Optionally choose courses or offers to grant.
5. Send the invitation.

An invitation is valid for 30 days. A member with an existing Fayne account joins with that account. A new member creates an account from the invitation.

How members sign in

Fayne uses a six-digit sign-in code instead of a password.

1. The member enters their email address on the academy sign-in page.
2. Fayne emails a six-digit code.
3. The member enters the code to continue.

If a code does not arrive, ask the member to check spam, wait briefly, and resend it. For an Invite only academy, they must use the invited email address.

Emails members may receive

Fayne sends messages when they are relevant, including:

• Academy invitation and welcome
• Signup confirmation and sign-in code
• Course assigned or access revoked
• Academy access removed
• Course or offer purchased
• New course published
• Certificate issued
• Lesson unlocked and reminders to come back, on courses with drip scheduling
• A reminder on the day they picked for a field mission, asking how it went
• A reminder email you write yourself, with a button to their next lesson

Members can turn off reminder emails under Reminders and nudges in their email settings. That one switch covers field mission reminders, the drip reminders to come back, and the reminders you send; sign-in, access, and purchase emails keep arriving.

Who the email comes from

Your academy name is used as the sender name. Until you verify a custom sending domain, the email address uses Fayne’s shared sending domain. In Settings > Email Sending, you can set a reply-to address and connect your own sending domain on a paid plan.
