Refer another coach, consultant, or agency to Fayne and earn account credit when they become a paying customer. Each successful referral applies a one-month credit to your own Fayne subscription invoice. You manage everything from Settings > Referrals. This program is about your Fayne subscription (what you pay Fayne). It is separate from how you charge your own students, which is handled through Stripe Connect.

Who can use it

The Referrals page is available only when both of these are true:

You are the primary owner

The referral program is scoped to the academy’s primary owner. Team members and other roles do not see the page.

You have an active paid subscription

Your Fayne plan must be active (an active or past-due paid subscription). Free and trial academies do not have access.
If you do not meet both conditions, the Referrals link is hidden and deep links redirect you to your general settings. See Plans and Subscription for how to upgrade.
Your academy has one permanent referral code. The page shows it as a ready-to-share link.
1

Open Settings > Referrals

The page generates your code automatically the first time you visit, so there is nothing to set up.
2

Copy your referral link

Use the Copy link button next to Your referral link. The link points at the Fayne signup page with your code attached.
3

Share it

Send the link to another professional who would run their own branded academy. When they sign up through it, the referral is attributed to you.
Your friend gets an extended free trial when they start from your link (21 days instead of the standard 7), which gives them more time to launch before deciding to subscribe.

How you earn a credit

A referral moves through a few stages before it pays out. You can watch the status of each one in the Your referrals list on the same page.
1

They sign up (Pending)

When someone creates an academy through your link, a referral is recorded as Pending. To count, they must be a genuinely new customer (no prior referral and no existing subscription).
2

They subscribe and stay (Qualified)

Once they are on a paid plan and have stayed paid for at least 30 days, the referral flips to Qualified.
3

Your credit is applied (Credited)

A qualified referral becomes Credited, and a one-month credit is added to your Stripe customer balance. It is applied automatically against your next Fayne invoice.
The credit equals one month of your current plan. If you are on an annual plan, it is one-twelfth of your annual price (one month’s worth).

Status reference

The referred owner has signed up but has not yet completed the 30-day paid qualification period.
They have stayed on a paid plan for at least 30 days. The credit is queued to be applied to your account.
Your one-month credit has been applied to your Stripe balance and will reduce your next invoice.
The referral never converted within the attribution window, or an applied credit was not used before it expired.
The referral was disqualified, for example a self-referral detected by a shared payment method.

Limits and timing

Up to 3 credits per year

You can earn a maximum of 3 referral credits per calendar year. The page shows how many you have left this year. Additional qualified referrals stay queued and do not pay out beyond the cap.

90-day attribution window

A pending referral must convert to a paying subscription within 90 days of signing up. If the referred owner does not start paying in that window, the referral expires.
Self-referrals do not count. If the referred account and your account share the same payment method, the referral is rejected. Referring yourself, or referring someone who already has a Fayne subscription, will not earn a credit.
Credits are applied as a balance on your Fayne Stripe customer and are consumed by your invoices. An applied credit that goes unused expires after a set period and is removed from your balance. For where your invoices and balance appear, see Subscription.
