Your home page is the landing page visitors see first when they arrive at your academy. It acts as your front door: a warm welcome, your positioning, featured content, and your offers. It sits alongside your Courses page, which keeps listing your full catalog exactly as before. The home page welcomes and orients; the Courses page is the catalog. The home page is opt-in. Until you publish one, nothing changes: visitors land on your Courses page and no extra item appears in the student navigation. Publishing your home page adds a Home item to the navigation and makes it your academy’s front door (it is served at /about on your student site).

How it works

You build the home page in a full-screen visual editor, the same block editor you use for lessons and offer pages. You write and arrange content by typing, and you drop in smart blocks that pull in your real courses, offers, and counts automatically. What you see in the editor is what visitors see on the page.

Visual editing

Write your pitch directly on the page. Type / anywhere to insert a block. Drag to reorder. No layout, spacing, or font controls to fuss with: every block is pre-designed and uses your brand colors and theme automatically.

Smart blocks

Blocks that render live academy data: a course carousel, your offers shelf, a featured offer, and live course and lesson counts. They always show your current content, so they never go stale.

The Home Agent

An AI assistant that drafts and refines the whole page from a plain-language instruction, grounded in your real courses, collections, and offers.

Draft and publish

Your edits autosave to a private draft as you work. Nothing goes live until you click Publish. Preview the exact visitor view any time.

Open the builder

1

Go to Customize

In your owner dashboard, open Customize in the left sidebar (this is the panel that also holds your logo, colors, and theme).
2

Open the home page

Under the Pages section, click Home page. This opens the full-screen home page builder.
3

Start from the seeded page

A fresh home page opens already populated: a welcome slot, your live course grid, and your offers. You are editing a working page from the first moment, never a blank canvas.

The page layout

The home page has three parts:
A full-width cover band at the very top, with a headline, a supporting line, and an optional button. You edit the hero directly in the builder: click into it, or open the settings panel to change its layout, backdrop, and button. The hero is separate from the main document, so it always stays at the top.
This is the document you write and fill with blocks: your pitch, smart blocks, testimonials, an FAQ, and anything else you add. Everything you type and every block you insert lives here.
A card in the right aside that the platform builds for you from your branding: your academy name, tagline, live course and lesson counts, and a join button. You do not edit its content in the document (you can set its button label in the settings panel). Because the card already shows your name and join button, your document should open with the pitch itself rather than repeating them.

Smart blocks

Smart blocks render your live academy data, so they stay accurate as your academy changes. Type / in the main column and pick from the Academy group:

Course carousel

A swipeable strip of course cards, three per view. Point it at one collection or leave it on all courses, give it its own heading, and cap how many cards it shows. Use one carousel per collection to showcase a large catalog.

Offers shelf

Your buyable offers with live prices. Signed-in members see which offers they already hold.

Featured offer

One offer as a wide banner card with its live price and a buy button. Use this to push a specific offer; use the shelf to show your whole store.

Academy stats

Live course and lesson counts, as automatic social proof.
Smart blocks are a showcase, not navigation. Visitors always reach your full catalog through the Courses page, so you can narrow a carousel to a single collection without hiding anything. Every smart block is optional, and most can repeat: several carousels, more than one featured offer, or multiple stats blocks are all fine.

Static blocks

The Page blocks group holds content you write yourself. These are shared with offer pages:

Testimonials

Quote cards with an avatar, name, and title.

FAQ

Questions and answers as an accordion.

Checklist

A checkmark list: outcomes, or who a course is for.

Feature list

Icon rows with a title and description: what is included.

About the creator

A photo, name, credential line, and bio for whoever runs the academy.

Stats row

Your own proof numbers as value and label pairs (up to three). Distinct from the live Academy stats block: these are numbers you write.
You also have the full set of writing blocks the block editor offers: headings, paragraphs, callouts, statements, and more. The home page is a landing page, so lesson-only blocks (quizzes, reflections, and other learning aids) are not available here.

The Home Agent

The Home Agent is an AI assistant that builds and refines your home page from a plain instruction. Open it from the builder, then ask for what you want: “Draft my home page”, “Write a welcome above the catalog”, or “Add an FAQ answering what students ask before joining”. The agent works from your real academy: it reads your actual courses, collections, and offers, and it can search your knowledge for real testimonials and details.
The Home Agent will not invent testimonials, names, results, statistics, or policies. If it cannot find a real quote or a stated policy (like a refund window) in your knowledge, it leaves it out and asks you for the real details rather than making one up. Prices and counts always come from live smart blocks, never from typed-in numbers that could drift.
The agent writes into the same draft you edit by hand, so its changes appear in your editor and stay private until you publish. Each agent turn uses 10 credits from your AI credit pool.

Preview and publish

1

Edit freely

Your changes to the document, the hero, and the card autosave to a private draft as you work. A save indicator in the top bar shows the status. Nothing is live yet.
2

Preview

Click Preview to see the exact page a visitor gets, rendered inside your real student site with your logo, theme, and navigation.
3

Publish

Click Publish to make the page live. Publishing copies your draft to the live page and clears the draft. Your home page now appears in the student navigation as Home and becomes your academy’s front door.
Publishing an empty page unpublishes your home page: the Home link disappears from the navigation and visitors land back on the Courses page. This is how you take a home page down if you no longer want one.

What visitors and members see

The home page renders the same layout for everyone, but the smart blocks are viewer-aware:
  • Visitors (not signed in) see your join button on the academy card (with the label you set), course cards, and offers with their prices.
  • Signed-in members see the same page, with per-course progress on course cards, “held” state on offers they already own, and a “Browse courses” button on the academy card instead of the sign-up button.

Customize your branding

Set your logo, colors, theme, and the identity your home page inherits.

Custom domain

Serve your academy, and your home page, from your own domain.
