The analytics section of your owner dashboard, labeled Insights, gives you a picture of how your academy is performing: how many students have enrolled in each course, how many complete it, and how much revenue you have collected. Insights is scoped to the academy you are currently viewing, so if you run multiple academies, use the academy switcher in the top bar to move between their data.
Insights is available on paid plans and during your trial. If your academy’s plan lapses or is paused, the Insights dashboard is locked until you reactivate.

Course-level analytics

The course view ranks the courses in your academy so you can see which are performing best.

Enrollment count

The number of students enrolled in each course, including those still in progress and those who have completed it.

Completion rate

The share of enrolled students who have completed every lesson in the course. A low completion rate can indicate that a course is too long, poorly structured, or not matching expectations.

Average progress

How far enrolled students have progressed through the course on average, so you can spot courses students start but do not finish.

Revenue per course

For paid courses, the revenue attributed to each course over the period you select.
Sort your courses by completion rate to find your strongest and weakest performers. Courses with high enrollment but low completion are the best candidates for a content review.

Student-level progress

Click any student in the People page to open their detail view, which shows progress specific to that individual:
  • Courses enrolled, courses completed, and overall progress.
  • Per-course progress: completed lessons out of total lessons for each enrolled course, with a checkmark when the course is finished.
Student progress is based on lesson completions. Fayne tracks which lessons a student has completed; it does not track lesson view counts or time spent.

Revenue analytics

The revenue section gives you an at-a-glance view of your academy’s financial performance for the period you select. Revenue appears once you have a connected Stripe account that can accept charges.

Gross sales and net

Gross sales and your net after Fayne and Stripe fees, for the selected period.

Revenue over time

A chart of revenue across the selected period, so you can track growth and seasonal patterns.

Per-course breakdown

Revenue attributed to each course, so you can see what is driving sales and where to focus.

Refunds

Refunds are tracked and deducted from your net revenue figures.
For full transaction history, disputes, individual customer details, and payout schedules, open your Stripe dashboard from Settings → Payments.
Revenue figures reflect payments processed through Stripe and already net out refunds. For the complete record, including disputes and payouts, check your Stripe dashboard.

Team access

You can give other people access to your academy. Team members are added as owners or admins, so more than one person can manage content, students, and settings. The set of available data is the same for any team member with access to the academy.
